Bike & Hike Experience Overview
This Bike & Hike experience begins in Borca di Cadore, where the e‑bike ascent follows a scenic forest road toward Vodo and then climbs steadily to Malga Ciauta. The ride offers a mix of shaded woodland and open viewpoints overlooking the Dolomites of Cadore, with a smooth and regular gradient that makes the ascent enjoyable thanks to the support of the e‑bike.
At Malga Ciauta, the bikes are left behind and the hiking section begins. The trail climbs toward Rifugio Venezia, located at the foot of Monte Pelmo — one of the most iconic peaks of the Dolomites. From the hut, a short but rewarding detour leads to the panoramic summit of Col de Fer, a quiet and open viewpoint offering sweeping vistas of Pelmo, Antelao and the surrounding valleys.
The descent follows the same route back to Malga Ciauta, where the bikes are retrieved for the return ride to Borca. The combination of e‑bike and hiking allows participants to explore a wide variety of landscapes in a single day: forests, alpine pastures, panoramic ridges and traditional mountain huts.
This experience is ideal for active hikers and cyclists with good fitness, looking for a full‑day adventure that blends physical challenge with spectacular scenery. A certified hiking guide ensures safety, pacing and a high‑quality outdoor experience throughout the day.
